Look for The Clothes Bar at the 11th Annual Spring Fling & Shopping Extravaganza held at Brookfield on March 22, 2012. Tickets at $45 dollars.
TWIG
TWIG (nationwide) stands for Together With Individual Goals. The WNY Group is made up of local women who want to help make a difference at Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. TWIGs is a branch of the Women & Children’s Hospital Foundation, made of up 8 groups (named after trees): Blue Spruce, Cherry Blossom, Elm, Hydrangea, Jasmine, Lilac, Magnolia, and Willow Oaks. At present, there are over 100 members whose enthusiasm is growing by the minute.
TWIGs raise money for the Hospital through activities like the American Girl Fashion Show, Lunch with Barbie™ and Shopping Extravaganzas, just to name a few. They provide craft items for Child Life’s Play & Preparation Program and clothing for the Emergency Room Clothes Closet.
Last year the TWIG groups together raised over $100,000.00 to be used for equipment at Women & Children’s Hospital.
